Bradford West Gwillimbury Boundary Review
BRADFORD BOUNDARY REVIEW UPDATE
The Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board has concluded the recent boundary review of its four Bradford elementary schools. During this process, a Boundary Review Committee was established, which included the area trustee, area principals, Catholic School Community Council representatives and board office staff. The committee heard from parents and considered feedback received from a series of open houses.
The significant facility limitations at St. Charles Catholic School and Mother Teresa Catholic School needed to be addressed and were major factors in recommending revised boundaries for approval.
The boundary recommendations were approved by the Board of Trustees on March 28, 2012. This included boundary changes to be implemented for September 2012 as well as future boundary changes related to the proposed new Bradford elementary school.
